Anthony Martial old club have turned down the chance to sign him

According to French media outlet Jeunes Footeux the second largest source in Olympique Lyon has been offered the chance to bring Anthony Martial back to the club as he nears the end of his contract with Manchester United.

However Lyon have turned down the chance to sign the Frenchman who was ruled out of the 2023/24 season due to injury.

The Red Devils have decided to let Martial leave as a free agent this summer.

As a result his agent began offering him to a number of clubs across Europe including Lyon.

Despite finishing 10th in Ligue 1 Lyon refused to bring Martial back. Boss John Textor is reportedly not interested in adding a striker to his ranks even for free.

Seeing the price drop so much Martial may find it difficult to find a new club to play with.
