Luka Modric talks about wanting him to become Real Madrid coach

Diaro AS says Luka Modric has turned down an offer from Carlo Ancelotti to become a member of his Real Madrid coaching staff next season.

While Modric was encouraged by Ancelotti offer he remained fully focused on his playing career and did not feel like retiring.

Real Madrid have not yet offered Modric a new contract and are unlikely to renew this summer. The idea is to remove the famous midfielders from their payroll bills. Modric No. 10 shirt is also likely to be handed over to Kylian Mbappe.

Modric has not played as regularly as he would have liked this season fueling speculation that he could Will have to leave.
