I suffered a lot in Barca Ousmane Dembele said in his conversation with Le Parisien. I went through some complicated times.
The Frenchman added that over the years things have gradually improved.
Dembele has missed almost three of the six years he spent at Barcelona due to injury. The winger is not very consistent as he often enters the injury room.
However things began to change for the better in terms of Dembele fitness when Xavi replaced Ronald Koeman as coach in 2021.
I had an incredible time with Xavi Dembele said. We are very close. He gave me a lot of advice and believed in me a lot.
But Dembele decided it was time to leave when he returned to his best form with PSG paying 50 million for his release.
The 26-year-old has scored just once since joining PSG in August last year but he also has 10 assists which is not bad for a winger.
