As reported by The Guardian Manchester City have successfully reached an agreement to sign Girona Sávio talented winger this summer. The documents required for the transfer are set to be signed in the coming days.
Sávio has been a key figure for Girona in their unexpected La Liga title campaign this season attracting interest from both the Premier League and Bundesliga clubs. The reported bid for the 19-year-old winger is around 30 million 25.7 million.
Girona is part of the City Football Group (CFG) a management company that manages Manchester City and clubs around the world.
Sávio who initially joined the CFG-affiliated Troyes in 2022 before being loaned out to PSV Eindhoven and subsequently Girona made a huge impact in La Liga. He has made 23 appearances this season scoring five goals and providing seven assists.
The outstanding winger has been committed to the cause of Girona until the summer with the aim of contributing to the club historic title race and securing the desired top four.
