Valentin Barco completes transfer deal to Brighton

Exciting news for Brighton fans as the club announce the signing of young Argentine Valentin Barco from Boca Juniors. The Worth 8million deal has been finalized with both clubs completing paperwork.

The deal with Brighton is 100% done. I signed the contract. My dream is always to visit Europe. I tried to give Boca a chance to sell me but no way now Brighton has created an opportunity for me.

Barco caught the eye of Brighton with his breakthrough in senior football showing off his talents as a defender and winger.

The signing follows Brighton record of success in nurturing top talent from South America highlighting the transfer of Alexis Mac Allister and Moises Caicedo to Liverpool and Chelsea last summer.
