Chelsea confirm Ian Maatsen exit details revealed

Ian Maatsen has joined Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the 2023/24 season it was confirmed on Friday.

 

 

The young defender has also signed a new contract at Chelsea keeping him at Stamford Bridge until the summer of 2026.

However the Blues have no plans to keep the 21-year-old again their goal is to make sure he does not leave the club for free this summer.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl has claimed they would like to include a buy option in the deal but Chelsea are not interested.
