Chelsea are reportedly targeting Roma striker Paulo Dybala as the January transfer window opens.
The Blues are said to be looking to further strengthen their attacking options and their interest in Dybala is well marked dating back more than a year.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb Chelsea want to use the release clause of Dybala, who is now active and could be triggered by a 12 million bid worth valid for a foreign club.
In case of asking the price Dybala will say the last thing in this story.
However Chelsea have only a limited time to meet the Argentine release clause as it expires on January 15.
Roma are currently planning their long-term future including the possibility of extending Paulo Dybala deal which currently runs until 2025.
