The transfer of Kylian Mbappe continues as the striker enters the last six months of his contract with PSG. He is free to negotiate with other clubs over a move this summer.
According to Athletic the Frenchman knows the exact financial terms of the contract Whites are offering him. It is understood to be lower in 2022 when Real Madrid offer a salary of 26 million euros per year and a bonus of 130 million euros.
At the time Mbappe opted for PSG although initially agreed with Whites terms. He earned 75 million without extra money at the Parc des Princes.
Madrid can now offer less money compared to 2022 due to the club less economic power and a transfer strategy focused on young players. However they still plan to make the 25 year old the highest paid player on the team.
