The report further adds that Erik's success at Ajax was largely because of Marc Overmars, who took care of all the transfers.
That left Ten Hag to focus solely on coaching, what he does best, and not recruitment so much.
There is hope that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will bring in the right people to work on transfer deals. However, there is a growing belief in and around Man United that Ten Hag may simply be out of his depth.
