Real Madrid sign new contract with Ancelotti

Carlo Ancelotti has signed a new two year deal with Real Madrid keeping him at the club until the summer of 2026 according to Relevo.

Real Madrid board has moved fast to secure Ancelotti after the Christmas break following the club impressive leadership this season. Ancelotti new contract is now close to being announced in January 2024.

Real Madrid are interested in the way Ancelotti has managed a team with his players injured since the start of the season. His side sit at the top of La Liga and are in the round of 16 of the Champions League after winning their title.

Ancelotti has an offer from Brazil but his first choice is Real Madrid as he does not want to leave Spain. Ancelotti continuation ends any rumors linking him with the Brazil national team job.

Real Madrid have also decided to extend Ancelotti deal to keep the team stable.

The next step for Real Madrid is to sign a central defender during the January transfer window.
