Arsenal liaise with Osimhen over club deal

Arsenal are reportedly in talks over a club record deal for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen ahead of a potential departure this summer.

Arsenal are among the clubs recently linked with the Nigerian player. And Italian media CalcioNapoli24 claims he is close to signing a new contract with Napoli.

The Gunners have been linked with a move for Osimhen with reports claiming he had been in contact with his agent Roberto Calenda.

If he signs a new contract in Naples the terms of his release will rise to 130 million meaning Mikel Arteta may have to break the club transfer record to sign him.
