Erik ten Hag decided to defend Andre Onana from criticism after his errors in Man United’s 3-3 draw against Galatasaray.
However, as per the Mirror, the Dutchman has privately sent a warning to the goalkeeper that he cannot afford to make any more mistakes.
Ten Hag is aware that he cannot any more high-profile mistakes in big games and has warned that Onana will be replaced if he continues making them.
The gaffer is ready to give Altay Bayindir his chance if the Cameroonian goalkeeper’s sloppy form continues in the festive season.
The Turkish goalkeeper is yet to get his debut at Old Trafford, but has impressed coaching staff in training and is ready to step up.
Bayindir is anyhow tipped to be Man United’s no.1 goalkeeper in January if Onana decides to play in the Africa Cup of Nations with Cameroon.
