Brazilian football television Neto claims Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Gabriel Moscardo for more than 25 million.
Rumors of the Blues interest in the midfielder surfaced in the summer and reappeared earlier this month. Now it seems the deal has been finalized though it has not yet been announced.
The 18 year old has made 23 appearances in all competitions for Corinthians this season and is considered one of the most talented Brazilian players at the moment.
The main strengths of the Moscardo are the technique of passing and the ability to move the ball forward. He was compared to Declan Rice.
Since coming to Corinthians I have always been the best midfielder Moscardo told Globo of his style of play.
I like the title mark which is very demanding especially in Corinthians as a net runner. But I also have the technical quality I can play as the number eight I think I have the strength to come to this area to finish the game.
