It is especially interesting to see Ilkay Gundogan among those mentioned. The 32 year old German is currently out of contract with the Blaugrana in 2025 but both sides have added options that allow him to extend it for an additional year. It looks like Barca are ready to rely on him even though he is 35 years old!
Deco reported plan is to extend the contracts of a number of key players after he negotiated a pay cut with Frenkie de Jong Barca highest paid player at the moment.
