Arsenal secure permanent signing of David Raya

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Arsenal are guaranteed to sign David Raya permanently in 2024.

The Gunners have signed Raya on loan from Brentford for 3 3million in the summer with a 27 27million buyout clause.

Despite the hype the Spaniard had a tumultuous start at the Emirates but Mikel Arteta has tightened Aaron Ramsdale on the bench.

Ramsdale was instrumental in our Premier League title race last season but now he has found himself in a computer role and could be forced to look for other opportunities.

Romano added that Raya has already signed a long term contract with Arsenal for June 2024.

With Raya now an Arsenal player close to being confirmed the future looks bleak for Ramsdale.
