Raphael Varane has emerged as a possible transfer target for Bayern Munich in the January transfer window after falling out of favour at Man United.
The Bavarians have reportedly discussed the possibility of signing him and are observing his situation at Old Trafford.
As per Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg, the Red Devils are open to selling Varane for a fee of around €20m-€30m.
They will not, however, be willing to accept a loan deal and only look into selling him permanently for an offer in that range.
However, Varane’s £17m-a-year salary is a major stumbling block for Bayern, who will not be willing to pay him that much at all.
The Frenchman was the point of interest from Saudi Arabia clubs earlier this year too and they could return to sign him next year too.
