Earlier this week Turkish journalist Burhan Can Terzi claimed that Ilkay Gundogan was tired of life in Barcelona and had a discussion with Galatasaray about a change for the better.
However when SPORT contacted Gundogan agent today to confirm his report he was ridiculed while he was unhappy in Barcelona.
Barcelona signed the German midfielder last summer after his contract with Manchester City expired.
But after the El Clasico Gundogan criticized some of his team-mates for their behavior after Barca lost 2-1.
Barca have signed the 33 year old on a two year deal with an option for another year. If the rumors are true and Gundogan decides to leave after a year Barca will surely get a lot of money for him.
This summer Barca received 12 million euros due to the transfer of Franck Kessie to Saudi Arabia. The Ivorian midfielder has arrived as a one year free agent.
He will not reach that level fans regret one thing that Gundogan will not achieve in Barcelona.
