Bayern Munich's president, Herbert Hainer has publicly declared the desire of the club to sing Harry Kane. Tottenham's chairman,
Daniel Levy, has set a high price tag of £100 million for the England captain, considering he is in the final year of his contract with Spurs.
Despite the hefty valuation, Herbert Hainer remains determined to secure Kane's services. He believes that the 29-year-old striker would not only benefit Bayern Munich but also raise the profile of the entire German league.
Here in the Bundesliga we don't have many international stars any more,Hainer told The Times.
Bayern always try to bring in stars. Harry Kane is a highly attractive player, the England captain and a top scorer. He would do us and the Bundesliga good.
Thomas Tuchel's team made two offers to Tottenham for Harry Kane - one for £60 million and another improved one for £70 million. Unfortunately, both offers were turned down by the Spurs.
However, Bayern Munich remains positive about their chances of signing Kane. A German news outlet even reported that Kane's family was recently spotted in the German city, looking at international schools and properties.
