Reason why Fabinho's Saudi move not done yet revealed — nothing to do with his dogs
It's taking more time than expected for Fabinho to move to Saudi Pro League. It was previously reported that the Brazilian's dogs became an issue, with the Saudi government not allowing many dog breeds into the country.
However, according to Globo Esporte, a reliable Brazilian source, the delay in the midfielder's move to Al Ittihad is down to 'bureaucratic details'. To be precise, the Saudis have 'released the funds' on Sunday but 'a bank proof is missing'.
But once the situation resolves, the deal will be done and the 29-year-old will join Al Ittihad. And Liverpool will get £40m.
Speaking of dogs, it's all fine. Flaco owns French Bulldogs and the Saudi government has no problems with this particular breed, a source inside Fabinho's camp told Globo Esporte.
And this news is a perfect excuse to post Fab's dogs here. Here they are, with his wife.
