AFC Ajax missed out on a place in next season's UEFA Champions League . The Dutch giants finished the lowest season in 14 years after losing 3-1 to FC Twente in their last Eredivisie match.

Ajax have now finished the season in third place in the Dutch top flight, the lowest tally since the 2008-09 season. Ajax have lost five of their 34 Eredivisie games but have not won seven in a row from November 6 to January 26.
