Joao Felix wants to be a full-fledged Chelsea player despite missing out on Champions League next season

Felix joined a lucrative loan deal in January and his contract does not include a buy-out clause, meaning Chelsea will have to re-negotiate with his club Atletico Madrid.

New talks between Chelsea and Atletico are set to take place soon, with the Blues still keen to reach a deal for the 23-year-old.

Felix, who has publicly stated that he is enjoying life in London, is understood to be keen to stay with Chelsea beyond his current loan spell and will be ready to make a permanent move despite Graham's side. Potter failed to secure a place in next season's Champions League.

Chelsea could raise the money needed to sign Felix by selling some of the players involved.
