N'Golo Kante, Chelsea midfielder ruled out of Qatar World Cup after surgery tendon injury. Kante suffered the injury during Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Spurs on August 14 . A statement from Chelsea said: The surgery was successful, but Kante is expected to be sidelined for four months.

Kante, who won the World Cup with France in 2018, has been named in the Premier League with a hamstring injury. Enter the World Cup scheduled to play in November. Chelsea team-mate Reece James is in doubt for England after suffering a knee injury while playing with AC Milan at UCL this month.
