Premier League player forced to retire at 24 due to health issues

Enock Mwepu, currently playing for Brighton, has been forced to retire after being diagnosed with a heart condition . According to a statement from the club this Monday.

He fell ill while joining the Zambian national team recently. He has not trained with other teammates to prepare for the game
against Malian national team because he was hospitalized.

Upon returning to England, Mwepu underwent a medical at Brighton and the test found that the midfielder has heart disease.
