According to The Athletic Levi Colwill is missing out on a bid to prepare for the FA Cup semi-final clash with Manchester City.
The Chelsea defender has missed the last six games with a toe injury. He has targeted Man City this weekend as a potential return date.
However it is now likely that he will be able to return for next week Premier League clash with Arsenal or Aston Villa.
Without Colwill Chelsea conceded 11 goals in five games ending a poor defense on Monday when they beat Everton 6-0.
