Manchester United are pushing in talks to extend Kobbie Mainoo contract according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 18-year-old is currently on modest a post-Academy deal which runs until 2027 with an option for a further year.
The Red Devils want to offer the young midfielder a massive salary increase as well as several lucrative performance add-ons.
In fact Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS want to go beyond that by making Mainoo the face of the new Old Trafford project at after the takeover.
