Diario AS says Real Madrid have decided to keep Joselu as part of the squad next season.
Joselu has impressed the decision-makers at the club enough to decide on future plans with him for the next term. The Spaniard has scored 13 goals in 14 starts this season. He also has three assistants.
Despite turning 34 last month Joselu is considered a low-cost option to play as a substitute at Real Madrid and is expected to continue his role next season.
The veteran target machine is bred in Real Madrid Castilla and often shows his deep love for the club Ancelotti has no problem being a substitute for many games.
Next season Real Madrid will welcome Kylian Mbappe and Endrick to their attacking zone which will increase the competition for a place. However the club are refusing to give up experienced and committed players who will spend less than 2 million this summer.
